Although this is for a front caliper on a (2001) Cagiva V-Raptor I'm pretty sure the P4 has been used on many Ducatis, monsters et al so I'm not gonna ask this in the 'other bikes' section. So which way up does the the thin metal cover/spring for the pads go ? The attached photo shows how I have always fitted it and you may be able to just make out a faint arrow on it that points upwards. But I have always wondered if this is the correct way
In all these years I have never ever even thought of equating the arrow with the direction of wheel/disc travel. Bleeding obvious now it has been mentioned..... ho hum. Doh!!
