I would like to formally invite Ducati owners to our annual Buell & Italian Motorcycle Festival: UK Buell Enthusiasts Group event topic with accommodation details: http://www.ukbeg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18242 Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre web site showing their location plus the UKBEG/EBR Em's Day and American Air Day notice: http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk/events/Special-Events/american-air-day.htm
This would be a good place for those in the midlands to have a meet there are some very good roads to ride to get there regardless of which direction you approach from. The Lancaster does some taxi runs so those who desired a ride book early.think it costs about £60
May tag along although it's a bit of a hike from the South... If the weather is nice, then it would be good to give it a blast up there!
Not far from me and I went to one of these last year, plenty to see and do and watching the Lancaster is brill!
This is always a good day out. Booking early for a taxy ride in the Lancaster usually means about 12 to 18 months in advance and I don't think £60 will get you in. There is a raffle on every taxy run day at the Heritage Centre and the winner gets to ride in the Lanc. The 2nd and 3rd prizes are usually pictures and videos etc. I won a very nice print once, signed by all the crew of the day and the Panton Brothers.
