Cagiva 650 To 750 Track Bike

Here’s the start point, shouldn’t take too long or cost too much!!!

650 now on the way to 750cc Omega pistons + Langcourt rebore and Nikasil. New Carillo’s at the same time.
ouch expensive but hopefully once in a lifetime expense.

 

Casings have cleaned up nicely, I’ll keep them ‘as cast’. covers away for polishing as when I stripped the black finish off them the castings were too rough for my little garage polisher so off to ‘Paddock Motorcycles in York’

 

Anyone know where I can buy base gaskets in the UK. Athena won’t ship from Italy to the U.K. at the moment!

 

Frame blasted and painted

 

Wheels back from powder coating. New ISR 300mm discs ready to go on. I’ve had to use these wheels of my other NCR replica as the Cagiva 3-spoke wheat didn’t clear my callipers. Bit annoying as if just fitted a pair of new Conti Road Attack Mk3 tyres.

There you go. German import, I’m waiting for the V5 to put it on the road. MOT’d last week.
