I’ve had an NSR250 so know it won’t be like my Supersport. Apart from that, i’ve no experience of Mitos. Any information/opinions/advice would be appreciated.

  2. I think I read somehere that people put RGV 250 engines in these.

  3. I had the later model that looked like a mini 916, I was 17 at the time and loved it, great little bike and remember it well,

  4. My younger cousin had that one. Detonated it in spectacular style o_O

  5. same here until i pranged it around the back of euston station when i was a spotty 19 year old

  6. I’m a lonnnng way from my teens. Perhaps this is not a great idea?

  7. I had same bike it’s an Eddie Lawson replica it’ll be the 7 speed one which has the close gear ratios great laugh on short blasts , looks pretty honest to me ,

  8. if looked after carefully from new they are fine, the main problem is finding one like this as most have been ruined now.

As you had an NSR250, your tickboxes for the Mito will be similar. you know what a mess the engine can be in if a piston/ring change not done in time and if the exhaust valve blade never gets looked at/adjusted it can start to touch the piston.

  9. Lovely little bike but I would sway towards the >1994 Massimo Tamburini redesign, just because...

I had an Aprilia RS125 and I keep pondering buying one as it was a fantastic little bike that ignited my passion for 2 wheels.

I don’t know much about the Cagiva but they didn’t sell as well as the Aprilia and use their own engine so parts could be a challenge.
