Ok so ive read the installation you do when fitting new belt esp the tightening. Now people use a 6 & 5mm allen keys as a guide in between the idler rollers ... Surely the belt is not tight when doing this as in its not like turning the belt 90 degrees when doing a car cambelt .... the old belts on there ATM are loose ... surely thats not right ??? Is there a app you can down load that uses frequency or sound of the belt pinging ?
Belts are loose(ish) on a cold engine, you can almost slide the belt off the front pulley when at correct cold tension.
I dint have much success with the aps so resorted to the allen key method, done belts twice no problems.
