Can the parameters be changed on the DTC?

  1. Looking to run the rear sensor pick-up on a different PCD and 5 pins instead of 4 pins.

    Can these setting be changed in the program?

  2. you won't be able to do it as the dtc brain will get confused not seeing 4..its non negotiable with the std unit….

  3. I can make a trigger (RIP) wheel to accommodate the larger pcd and 4 pins.

    However, the sensor hole in the brake bracket off the 999 is nearer the centre, as the 999 runs a smaller pcd. On initial inspection, the bracket cannot be drilled further out radially for the sensor.

    Unless there is a rear caliper bracket from another double sided swingarm bike that uses the same pcd that the dtc recognises.

  4. i know the monster s4 one accommodated the bigger disc….but that was single sided..

  5. you may have to rethink your swing arm…………..ive got a 1198 one complete…..ish the mountings would be the same as the 999 one...:biggrin:

  6. Figured out that 4 pips per rev all thats needed. So they can be any pcd
