Having to order frames from companys like Suter is like admitting you don't know shit about is... like Heston blumenthal ordering mash from a caterer... Making frames has been a substantial part of their racing history and success and now their going somewhere they don't know shit abbout... It s hard to understand why a trelly frame could not give what a frame needs.. stiffness and flex where needed?
More likely Ducati don't want to have to buy the horrendously expensive machinery required to produce a very short run of extruded ally beam frames, as they probably have no plans to make a road bike based on it.
