  1. I've got a set of track fairing here that I need to shift.

They're not in the best state. having removed the vinyl covering it is clear that they have been repaid at times and will need a little more and to be painted.

I am looking to recoup as much as possible of the £225 I paid for them, however no decent offer will be refused.

    Nose fairing
    Side panels (1 piece type)
    Belly pan
    Air Convectors

I'd like around £150 and need them gone ASAP.

  2. Any pictures?

  3. it looks like kevlar reinforced stuff. i'll put up a pic of the weave in a sec

  4. Now I don't wish to impugn your hounor but that looks like fibreglass. Have you got a better picure of the weave and/or where it's been worn down on the left side?
Kevlar reinforced would look like this

And where it's worn through should obviously be all black, or black and yellow like above.

  5. I'll have a look later, I haven't even taken them out the box yet so I don't know for sure. My missus took the photos while I was away. I'll get back to you

  6. Also the worn through bits are full depth repairs, the filler material is yellow

  7. Having taken them out of the box, they're too heavy to be carbon fibre I think.

They were advertised as carbon fibre and bought unseen.

Luckily no one has bought these yet. THESE ARE NOT CARBON FIBRE.

I just need shot of them ASAP so anyone interested can make offer and it'll be considered.

Attached is a photo of the weave. [IMG]

  8. Mark at MADASL has confirmed that it is carbon fibre
