Cassington Italian Bike Day :This is the 4th. running of this event and the format hasn't changed. Date Saturday 9th. June 2018. Time, from 10am until you get fed up and head home. Venue.. The Red Lion, Cassington Oxfordshire.. OX29 4DN. Cassington is just off the A40 heading West from Oxford towards Witney. No entry fee, just turn up show your bike, have a burger and/ or a pint / tell exaggerated storied and go home..... Simple.

Wrong event. Doh. It was the village bike event that was packed. Did go to the Italian event as well. A nice Desmo rocked up.

Including the ones parked at the front of the pub we counted 186 bikes. Not all at the same time as they came and went as they chose. Good Italian type weather. Last week it was 'Best of British Day and it rained.

No.As Secretary of the 'British Motorcycle Riders Club (Oxford) for many years, a life member and the guy who started both 'Best of British Day' and 'Italian Bike Day' in Cassington I certainly NOT saying that. I was making a joke about the weather.
