Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by SteveE, Sep 15, 2017.

  1. i know it's probably bloody obvious but I have found the rear-most bolt to remove (see photo) to get the chain guard off but can't find the bloody front one. Can anyone help a blind old bloke?

Have a look,at screw No.4, that appears to fix to the chain guide and also, possibly, the mount on the swing arm that the sleeve No.18 goes through.

At great personal expense, I've ventured into the garage, got down on my hands and knees, torch in hand and had a look.

Quite where screw is, remains a bit of a mystery. But one thing seems certain, you will need to remove the wheel to gain access.

    Regards

    Mr. W. Owl. :p

The broad end of the yellow line points to a screw (no. 4 on the above diagram) I reckon that mounts both the chain guard and guide together.

Wheel off though unless you've got really small hands.
