999 Change Of Mind

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Vern3297, Oct 17, 2021.

  1. I think it is a lovely looking thing I like the black blades on the fairing as somebody said they get lost when they are red and are one of the best features of the bike marry it with a black hugger and it will be a stunner

I don’t like the seat I think a nice black alcantara jobby would maybe set it off

Personally I dislike extra non OEM stickers/decal additions but that is driven by all the scene twats in cars with shopping lists and Paul Walker vigils on their shit boxes plus the last time I played with stickers it was panini and got a belt off my dad for sticking them all over the walls stickers stay in childhood you only have a few so easily solved

But very nice bike very envious

  6. I noticed the CF fairings - I think they are aftermarket as R fairings come up and over the air tubes whereas it looks like the ones on yours have separate covers over the air tubes. They look good though.
Can’t see the nose - has it got no headlight cutouts?

  7. Has the headlights as normal so yeah I think your right aftermarket fairings because as you said the r ones are different

  8. Well thought I’d post an update done a bit of work and I think it’s nearly finished ;)

  11. I have to say I like the swing arm.

And to echo others, if you like it, that’s all that matters.

  12. you just need to put music to this now Sev, and some kind of chorus along the lines of "I'm a lumberjack". May I suggest - "he's got 3 Rs, he picks his nose" etc.

    Lovely bike btw.
