I noticed a clonk from the back while wheeling my 907 across the road last week. 1 nut holding the sprocket missing. The pin that fits into the cush had wound its way in flush to the sprocket looking like it had sheered. Most of the others were loose despite previous owner centre dotting them.
Last year, one of the cush drive pins on my 907 sheared. The part through the sprocket with the nut remained in place, the other bit fell into the wheel and clunked about when wheeling the bike. When I replaced it I found that there 3 different revisions of the cush drive / sprocket pins. The later ones are stepped up to a bigger diameter and you'd need a later sprocket carrier to take them.
I just had mine checked at Saint Peters, Chertsey...all ok according to the lady technician who looks like this character with the broom. Only slightly less svelte and gentle. For some reason 2 pints of slippery gunk is required to get a good image, but only one piece of tissue to clear it all up afterwards. When I complained I was given a second piece.
