I don’t use the cinema anymore but feel for those that will lose their income. Whole things getting dire.

 

One of the things i do miss....for us (we used to do every other month or so) go out for a meal then on to the cinema....doesnt help with all the movie studios witholding all the new releases....

 

Have been a member of a cinema meetup group in Cheltenham since the start of the year. We have Cineworld Unlimited cards and go twice a week, or did before lock-down. Had a good thing going throughout the hiatus with Zoom meets, quizzes and film lists for Prime, Netflix and Film4 with group reviews after. Moved to the town last weekend and now this, typical.

Feel for the employees. Hope that they can come back next year once, hopefully, things will be more viable.

 

I hope the other corporations manage to coerce billions or many millions out of the tax payers coffers. So that they survive & pay no taxes..

A couple of lads at work were buying shares in Cineworld during lockdown. I guess they have taken a bath

I don't think they are bringing the country to its knees. All they have to do is reduce the upper rate tax rate and that will increase tax revenues to pay for it all.

If that doesn't work they can reduce VAT. Oh wait ..................

I don’t buy the whole ‘wave’ thing. To me it’s rising and falling because we are prolonging it with our ‘lockdowns’ creating a wave like effect. It’s our doing.

And mysteriously I wouldn’t be surprised if it rises over winter because erm.. it’s a flu
