Anyone spoken to Chris recently? I've tried calling every now and again over the last fortnight and never get through, dropped him an email on Friday - wouldn't expect a response by today but wondering if he's around? Busy I suppose with all of the recommendations on here!
Was working week on, week off when I had mine done earlier this year, probably on a beach somewhere having a break from mutleys!
He returned mail to my friend on the 27th, so he is still about. Probably having a break, people are entitled you know.
This was a few months back. When you do return from a break, it is usually good practice to contact those who have taken the time to enquire and are willing to spend money at your business. Even if it is to say "I'm fully booked but I can fit you in next month, or so"
Yes I'm still alive .Just to clear things up and let people know the current situation. Due to reasons beyond my control I can for the rest of this year only work around 14 days per month to run CJS. Those 14 days are spent working twice as hard as i prieviously had too and meticulously to cover 28 days worth of bills and overheads that today's standard of living gives us. If I don't pick up the phone its because I am concentrating to my Maximum capability perfecting the fuel and spark tables on someone's multi . (This could be your multi) during this time I do not get time to shut off a bike mid run to have a 30 minute conversation with everyone who phone s . A multi takes 8 hours to map here start to finish and I don't think the waiting customer will appreciate leaving the workshop at 7pm before they start there 1 , 2 3 or even ten hour journey home instead of leaving at 5. Answering the phone in the Dyno room can lead to a botched fuel map , a mistake or worse an accident. I always try my best to phone back everyone who rang that day between 6 and 9pm. Please if you can't get through (like my website suggests ) drop me a text with a call back time . yes sometimes people do get missed but its only me here by myself to cover everything that's work related . Emails are a good way of comms. My PC is on all day everyday and I rarely miss emails. But with the number of mails I receive per day with over 80 percent of people just wanting technical help some do get missed. If you have been missed Iam very sorry but again I am only human doing the best I can with one set of hands in the limited time period I have . Holidays I haven't had one of those for over three years but one is needed that's for sure.
Cheers Chris, appreciate you're really busy and can't just drop what you're doing. I sent you an email about the SC project exhaust and map, will try and give you a call tomorrow but will leave a text if you're busy. Cheers!
Chris.....or should I say CHRIS.....pick up your phone or use your keyboard. Called loads of times and PM on here.... I have a wad of cash to give you.....that should get a response.
Just spoke to him. The best thing to do is TEXT him. PM and email don't work. See my Dyno sheet for his number. Got the advice I needed and will be back in there as soon as my warranty issues are sorted (seized butterfly on exhaust valve).
