As it seems I’ve found myself with some time on my hands then I figured I may as well use some of it to clean up my 848. The question I have is what are the essential products and bits of kit I should have to get the bike looking as good as possible? Previously used the likes of muc off and Ducati’s general bike cleaner but looking for other ideas.
Throw all Muc-off products away or give them to someone you don't like - they are nasty and have no place near a Ducati.

How could you lead people on with such an incomplete list?? What about... A shady spot? A chair? Tunes? A cooler with liquid refreshments? A morning and early afternoon free of chores... A place to go later that evening that your significant other needs to shop for so that they will be gone from just after they made you breakfast to just in time to have dinner delivered... Now lets face it. That is a more complete list. Best part is. Whether you spend 4-6hrs or 45 minutes doing it... They will say it looks great when you ask... So what do you need more? A very shiny bike? Or a 4hr guilt free ride? Rex
Having borrowed my neighbours jet wash last weekend there is no way I'd ever let one near one of my road bikes. Dirt/trials bike maybe. No wonder dashes go screwy and bikes don't start.
Jet wash for snow foam application only, no need to aim any water at electrical components imo, your up early creamy.
