Does anyone recommend a product for cleaning out a tank that's had very old fuel in it, there's very slight surface rust which will rub off ( no I'm not using electrolysis as fascinating as that thread is), some crud came out with the old fuel, it's an 04 999, but I've a few to do

If your tank has started to corrode, IMO, you can't just clean it. The mousture absorbed by modern 5% ethanol petrol will just start the rust all over again. There are 2 products available for DIY, POR 15 is of of them and my memory has lost the name of the other but Google is your friend. Andy
