Hey ingenious peeps. I have 4 mountain bikes in my garage taking up way to much space. Just bought some hooks to hang them from the rafters but it's a bit crap. Anyone come up with a better solution? Cheers
Depends which is wider from the wall. Stand them all up side by side or stack like exige but closer together with more overlap
They are very big irritating things. Don't ever even use 'em. Lawn mower and garden tools are annoying me too. I need a garden shed but that won't go down well
I have a separate shed for bikes, lawnmower and garden stuff - nothing non bike related is in my garage, it's the law
Similar set up to @Char got loads of bikes so hang em up on garage wall. I'd send a piccie but I'm in Port Harcourt right now.
Hang them from a loop of rope attached to the roof by the saddle in alternate directions, easy to put up / take down and you keep the storage space underneath them. That's how my local bike shop stores bikes in their workshop.
I could use the bikes for you for a bit, give you the satisfaction of knowing that they're not just gathering dust as they depreciate. I could guarantee they return with that treasured and ever popular 'vintage' look. Avoid being mocked by friends for having all the gear and lots of ideas and show them your trail worn hardware! Bikes with an RRP over £5000 are especially eligible for this exclusive all inclusive offer.
I currently have my bicycle hung on the wall with a bracket from Halfords, but we are about to build a secure shed outside and I'm going to use something like this. Wall Mounted Cycle Rack | CycleStorage4Less
