I’ve fitted the Ducati spacers and my throttle grip is now slightly loose on the throttle tube. I can click it either up down or back and forth. Can’t see anything obvious in the throttle control where the tube is connected. It’s not loose as in not gripping it’s just got some slight movement in it. Ironic as the spacers have done their job to eliminate the slop. Now I’ve got play but on the grip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
2022 v2 Bayliss. Usual throttle free play. Now loose throttle tube. Doh. Throttle spacers have done their usual excellent job. I’m feel like I could just fill the gap with a bit of ptfe? Or am I missing something?
PTFE works wonders for short term fix. However there is usually a downside to modifications. I'm not familiar with you bike, 998 or 995? Has your throttle cable stretched/ needs adjusting/ renewing? Apart from that I dunno.
