Clutch Tip of the week. if you have problems bleeding your hydraulic clutch. Buy a Gunsons Eezibleed, a 2nd clutch MC reservoir cover (which you will customise) and a washer that will fit inside the cover, and a bleed pipe to fit slave bleed nipple. Drill 10mm hole in cover and attach the Eezibleed pressure connection to the cover. Fill clutch reservoir with new fluid DOT 4. Attach bleed pipe to slave bleed nipple and attach 8mm spanner. Fit your modded cover to the reservoir and attach pressure inlet of Eezibleed to front tyre with 20 psi (check with gauge 1st) Then just open slave bleed nipple until MC is nearly empty which takes seconds, then tighten. Simply detach tyre connector, refill MC and repeat until your happy that clutch is solid and you've flushed old fluid and air through system. Took me 20 minutes and clutch is really strong now. You will need to re-inflate front tyre maybe 2x, i used a bike pump. I also tried a vacuum pump and it was rubbish, this method is perfect. Hope someone benefits
I have an old Eezibleed that I used to use for everything and it was brilliant. Now that you have mentioned it I really should buy a spare m/c cap and resurrect it.
