Hi All. My twinspark has done around 25000 miles now. Just wondering how long the clutch lasts, as i would have gone through at least ond set of replacement plates on ky old dry clutches. So far seems as solid as a rock.
40,000 on mine so far. I got 36,000 on my ST4s with the quiet clutch conversion but the Multi clutch is wet so there is no comparison. I'll just have to wait and see
A wet-clutch 1200 should go many miles, like 80,000 on the low end if you aren't abusing it offroad. My Speed Triple has 115,000 upgraded the clutch (fiber and springs) at like 20,000 and its still there, before that I put 105,000 on a ZX-9R that was still on the stock clutch. I currently have 20,000 miles on my Multi and another 20,000 on my Super Duke and I'm not even slightly worried about either.
Wow i had no idea they wouldmlast longer than a dry clutch, i thought it would have more strain put through it being a slipper clutch.
