Hi guys, I've taken my 748 clutch apart during a restoration project and was thinking about renewing my friction plates. I've heard that suzuki gsf400 plates are interchangeable with ducati (and are significantly cheaper ) Has got any experience of knowledge on this? Cheers guys Rob
I tried some and found they were too tight a fit in my particular clutch basket slots. As the bike warmed up, the plates expanded and I got terminal, unrideable clutch drag. Cured it by putting one of my old plates in first, for the quiet clutch mod, then two Suzuki plates, then old ones again. Worked perfectly.
