999 Clutch Slave Cylinder Banjo Bolt

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Xfin999, Aug 9, 2018.

  1. Went to change my clutch fluid yesterday for the first time as the bite point is a little too close to the handlebars and turns out the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder banjo bolt had sheered off at some point. (thanks previous owner for that!).

Looking on flee bay and wondering if anyone knows whether this would fit my stock slave cylinder or should I just order a new one from Ducati and wait 2/3 weeks for it to arrive?

I'm drawn in by the 1-2 days delivery on the ebay item!

  2. "This banjo bolts is used on Hydraulic Clutch Slave Cylinders on bikes like Ducati"

  3. yep. Nice and vague. I messaged the seller but not sure if they know otherwise you would think they would put it in the listing.

  4. Well Thomas claims it will fit a 999 stock slave cylinder. I'm going to roll the dice and take his word for it.

Guess i'll report back once it turns up.

  5. Should be fine. They quote M10 x 1mm pitch and that's correct.
