Advice needed. Assuming I want a lighter clutch on my enduro but want to retain its properties biting point etc what diameter slave cylinder should I be looking for. Stock is 25 mm and can find 26-28 and 30 mm??
This article might help, although it's about Ducati sports bikes? http://www.avantiraceparts.co.uk/page.php?id=12 Oberon get good press: http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Ducati_Clutch_Slave_Cylinders_DCSC.html I fitted the Ducabike one (when it was on special offer), lighter clutch but sometimes needs a longer lever action, especially when very hot. https://conquestcarbon.com/product/ducabike-ducati-clutch-slave-cylinder-carbon-inlay/
I fitted a CNC 28mm to my DVT, it is a bit lighter but so much smoother in operation than the OEM Slave cylinder so it was a worthwhile change. I was advised not to go for the 30mm as it may not fully operate the clutch in some circumstances due to more lever travel being required.
