Clutch Stack Height?

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by idrinkbeer, Apr 26, 2017.

  1. Hi I'm servicing my clutch and replacing a broken spider spring thingy and need to know what stack height is correct. It's an 848 Ducati performance dry slipper clutch, it's fitted to a sc1000s. Any advice ?

  2. If your clutch is similar to a DP or a DP clone, try 36.5mm. I tend to use 2x1.5mm dished plates to limit the shudder on initial take off so tend to run slightly under that figure but suffer no slip. Andy

  3. ^^^^ what he said, 36.5mm.

  4. Many thanks. Got talking to Ducati Coventry and they said to keep the stack 3-3.5 mm below the basket level.
