if manufacturers official colour name is: opalescent silver grey. What would you tell DVLA as a colour : silver or grey?? Don’t wanna get it wrong
Poncy manufacturers, why cant things just be a simple one word colour like blue or white etc. I seem to recall Saab having a Rosso Quartz Metallic some years ago.

Hmmm.... that’s the reply I’ve been given on the car manufacturers forum to this question and sent papers to DVLA as silver but now not sure and agree with grey! Silver, as it is a metallic colour by Definition, grey is not
Surely in this case "silver" is the adjective describing the particular shading/tone of gray. Therefore the colour is gray?
