Hey folks just wondering what your opinions are on the above seats I find the original seat quite slippery and I will be tracking the 1199 So I’m wondering which you guys would recommend the comfort or race Is the comfort the best of both worlds ideal for track and for road ? Thanks Steve
Comfort. Its the same height and grip as race but softer. Race is like sitting on a wedge of hard cheese.
Race seat for me, even for touring I find it more supportive so less tiring. Make sure you have tank grip as that makes a huge difference on the Pani.
I agree with tank grips. Theyre mandatory on a pani. But I toured alps on race seat and it hurts after 10hrs in saddle. I toured the following yr on comfort seat and it was no probs. But if youve got cast iron perineum like Royalsie, then go with what suits you. Mine is like a soft velvet delicate part.
