Connecting A Charger To A 1299

  1. My bike came with a pig-tail connector for a charger, but the dangling socket is not the same as the ones on my Optimisers (yes, I have two!). I would rather not buy yet another charger (the Ducati one) so my question to you is how can I connect an Optimiser to the bike? I can see various adapters on Amazon, but the helpful ads do not show pictures of the connecting pins, so it's difficult to see if they will do the job. Any ideas?

  3. Yes, just get an Optimate pig tail and connect it to your battery.

  5. Motohaus to the rescue. Turns out they do an adaptor for very little money.
