Happy Easter! Does anyone have a ConStands Bike Lift? I recently ordered one, and to my mind the main pin that goes in the frame should go all the way in to the white nylon spaced. Whatever I try there is always about 5mm of the pin showing, and the bike does seem to slide off a bit as the lift operated. When up in the air the bike does not seem very stable. So, has anyone got one, and does your pin locate all the way in before lifting, and does it stay all the way in when lifted? Thanks Jon.
Hi, I bought a Constands lift a while ago for my Multi, although I thought it was well made, I couldn't get the mounting kit supplied to fit my bike at all! I e-mailed the company, and they said I had the correct kit, but there was no way it was going to fit and lift my bike correctly. I returned the lift for a full refund and bought a 1 Jac lift, which fits much better and is very secure which im very happy with. Sorry probably not what you wanted to hear, but worthy info nerveless
Thanks Boomer, probably what I will end up doing. But the stand itself is excellent, it just the adaptor will not locate fully. I may drill the hole into a slot as a last resort, it is just a couple of millimetres out, and it is all there and assembled!
Gave up and returned it for a refund. they sent a prepaid label for the postage. Bought the 1jac. Brilliant in every way!
