ST4s, what temperature should the fan kick in? Yesterday, while chewinf through traffic, temperature gauge was reading 108, my legs were getting medium to well done and still no fan... anyone enlighten me? Thanks Nick G
It should come on about 104-105 Deg C but the fan function in the IAW59M ECU seems to be a common failure point as I found out when mine went to 117 Deg in Italy. A manual switch to trigger the relay was the quick fix.
Thanks Derek, I'm not getting a good feeling here...guess the best idea is to avoid traffic ...also, I've had other bikes where the fan doesn't start till 120!!!
