1200 Copper Washer For Oil Drain Plug

  1. Going to be doing an oil change on my 2014 Multi
    Could someone let me know the size / part number for the sump plug washer please ? Cheers

  4. My dealer doesn’t fit one it’s got sealant on instead. Would much rather prefer a crush washer!

  6. All the bikes should have a washer. Some are spec'd with threebond on the threads also, but all have washers.

  7. Absolutely agree. If I found a dealer not using a washer I'd be finding a new dealer, pronto. A mate re-used a crush-washer when he did an oil change - cracked the sump, so no washer at all has got to be worse.

  8. Maybe the washer was fitted but can’t see cos of all the sealant.

  10. Yep. Pretty much as well as material (copper or alloy) and the thickness, depending upon the bike there's 3 or 4 to choose from. At those prices though, may as get the right one from a dealer..... the most expensive one is about 70p ;)

  11. I just went to my local NTS car parts place, took the old washer and got a replacement of the same size for 25p :)
