Just a quick heads up for anybody who wants their Ducati serviced by one of the best super tech mechanics in the trade. You read all to often about people concerned about their dealer and whether they're being ripped off on time and /or labour rates for certain jobs when it comes to Ducatis, but I can sincerely say Neil (aka Nelly) at Cornerspeed is one of the good guys. I mean how often is it that you get an estimation of cost off a chap for a certain amount of work only to find he's done more than first asked and the bill comes in slightly cheaper? Legend. Honestly he's a stellar bloke and very rarely without work from what I can tell, saying that it never hurts to let the world know how much care and attention he's gives your pride and joy. He's far more finicky and anal than me and that's what you want from the bloke spannering your Italian exotica. So, if you're within spitting distance (even a full days ride out distance) of Cornerspeed Ducati then all I can say is get yourself booked in, you won't regret it. BIG THUMBS
I'll second the above. I do my own servicing & maintenance but on my recent engine rebuild there were a couple of jobs that I needed expert help with. I took what was basically a box of bits to Nelly and he did a first-class job at a more than reasonable price and didn't keep me waiting, absolutely top bloke too - highly recommended.
