Crankcase Damage - Terminal?

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Fudoshin, Oct 19, 2020.

  1. Hello oh wise ones...
Slowly rebuilding a 750 monster engine and one of the replacement cases (used) has picked up some damage - could’ve been me or like it when bought...

Question is whether it renders the cases unusable...?

    Thanks for your time...

  4. I'd say that was perfectly serviceable - the purpose of that bore in the crankcases is to locate the cylinder barrel.
