Went to the Classic Bike Trackday at Doni July 26th and discovered they have allowed 748/916 bikes into the racing. I am looking at Post Classic Era 3 Supersport 600, which includes two cylinder 750s. 600 Supersport: Maximum Capacity is 600cc for 4 cylinder 4 strokes, 750cc for 2 cylinder 4 strokes & 500cc for 2 strokes So this little puppy will be prepped for the track. Apart from all the lockwiring, sump tray and shark fin, does anyone know a good solution for the rain light?
If you have stock wiring I would use the loom and the handlebar switch and then find a suitable single LED light and use or modify the bracket that holds the rear reflector to the seat
My son has a 748 SPS\R modified by CJS and that puts out 115BHP at the rear wheel, quite a nice little bike and pretty quick. He used it for a race series a few years back.
No it was a 748 composed of 748 SPS pistons and 748R heads that were gasflowed and with bigger valves all done and set up by CJS Ducati, the engine build alone was £2,500 at the time, which was quite a lot.
These are nice and neat: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/14115546...F334uf07X4vpLMyqm4ZJUUke0=|tkp:Bk9SR7jNj56kZA
