Cush bushes

  1. As part of a winter rebuild on my 998 new Cush bushes are on my list of required parts, the genuine ducati ones are about £85 ! Seems a bit steep to me considering this is my 2nd ducati & the 2nd set I need !
Are there any decent none genuine ones out there ? P.S anyone got a genuine red nose cone fairing?

  2. You could try MV ones They are half the weight of Ducati ones.

    And twice the price.
Thats why my MV has Ducati cush drives in it

  3. The weight isnt an issue for me really , its more that £85 seems alot for 5 bits of rubber/metal that wear out quickly. Iam sure some none genuine manufacturer could bang some out for £20 no probs.

  4. I was being flippant.
I suggest you check your bearings etc My 748 has done 20,000m and the only reason I changed mine was because I knackered them trying to get them out of the sprocket when I changed to a Renthal carrier.

Like I said it could be worse MV ones cost twice as much. A lot of MV owners change to Ducati ones because they last.

  5. Mmm my bearings seem fine but on the MV subject I was there to catch my mate when he was unlucky enough to have to price up 1 fork leg for his senna F4S ,think it was about £1600 with a 3 month wait for it to arrive ! Spose it makes the cush bushes look cheap.
