Hi all Thought ild post these up. I had a damaged set of clocks lying around and wanted to try something new, So I bought another set of faulty clocks and went about stripping both and making one fully working set, I never really liked the faces so I made these instead These were the originals Then I made new faces, I made a couple as the ones in the picture got creased Then fitted and all working
I fitted these over the top of the old numbers and when you turn them on. They show through. I just prefer the blank silver faces when it's turned off
that could be a service you could offer here , but be aware most of the members want some thing for nothing
I'd say there is a gap in the market after Superdials closed up shop a while ago, they did sell their equipment etc. on to Lockwood but I am not sure how good they are or even whether they do any bike stuff. I had a set of custom dials made up for my 998 (by Superdials) and I have always liked them and they are so much easier to read than the Black\Green rev counter of the original. There is a bit more work than meets the eye though as the 748/9** need to be carefully "unsealed" converted and then tested for accuracy when back together. I have watched the whole process on my own dials and it's not a 5 minute job.
What they look like lit up, still need to change the lcd rubber connectors as i changed the screens and was still the same
