Some of you may be aware that other than taking the piss on here I enjoy a good cycle ride. I usually set myself a yearly target of some sort of challenge, in the past I've ridden 350 miles in 24 hours, ridden up and down Mount Ventoux all 3 ways in less than 9 hours, ridden from Newcastle to London in less than 19 as well as many other weird and wonderful rides. This year I have signed up to ride London to Paris in 24 hours in an effort to raise money for the Royal British Legion. Being an ex Marine I've been lucky in not needing any assistance from any charity but as you all know the RBL are in the forefront of military charities. I'm also well aware that people are being asked to sponsor 'this and that' and that constantly so please forgive me if your 'sponsored out' for the time being. I'd also quickly point out that this isn't a freebie I'm doing, I've had to pay £599 for the pleasure of raising money for the RBL, my target is £900 so if you could see yourself to donate a few quid I'd very much appreciate it.
