Hi all I've just changed my MTS 1200 S Sport to a new 1200S D-Air. So far I've only looked at the D-Air vest as I've got the 'M' tech built into the bike it seems a waste not to have the jacket. Has anyone got one of these? What is the fit like with all the gubbins in the back? The prices have come down a little but it's still quite a large investment so I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Cheers as always. Neil
Neil, Can't help in answering your questions (hopefully someone else will be on shortly who has one) but I thought you might want to take a look at this thread which discussed the concept a wee while back. Mark H
A friend of mine has the D-Air and the jacket to go with it. Fortunately he has never had need to make use of it. He seems happy enough with the jacket though. Or put another way, I've not heard any negative comments.
Gawd its complicated, there are three versions of D-air. Racing; integrated into the leather wind deflector Touring jacket, which is an inner waist jacket (connected to Multistrada system) Street over jacket, which is dedicated to its own wiring harness (retrofitted to bikes) All Dainese D-Air Motorcycle Clothing & Accessories What a shame that D-air street doesn't seem to work on the multistrada. As i plan to use my leathers in good weather rather than my textile kit & would still want the use of an air-bag system. Or am i wrong that the street-jacket not needing its Mkit if paired too a Multi-SD?
