Being in need of some new leathers I pounced on the Dainese sale on their website. All good, picked a jacket I want, selected the size and...the discount disappeared! It doesn't matter what size you choose, it goes back to full price. The discount isn't reapplied at checkout either, I've checked. I'm going to call the Dainese store in Machester tomorrow and see if they can tell me what's going on.
I wonder if Dainese is gradually removing items from the sale. Two D-Air jackets were reduced by £300 (the Carve Master 2 and Tuono D-Air jackets) but today only one of them is on sale. Perhaps August holidays in Italy are a factor? Alternatively, perhaps discounted stock is selling fast? Earlier in the lockdown, eBay showed Bikestop and Ducati Glasgow had some incredible deals on clothing. Now there's less stock left on sale.
Could be, but it still seems odd that an item appears in the sale but no size, although available, carries the discount. If you're right, and you may well be, they're not managing the site properly. It's misleading and frustrating.
