Yep, faulty dash. Replacement under warranty. If out of warranty live with it. Plenty of info on here about it, have a search.
Search under my name.. It's due to water ingress and an unprotected PCB / connector. If under warranty IMMEDIATELY ask for a replacement, if not you are looking at least £750+VAT, IF you do most of the work yourself. Garage charges will be nearly double. However note, most bikes NEVER progress any further than just the dim glow on the lights. Some (few) have gone into total melt down, but not many.
