Hi folks. Thinking about doing some mods to my Multi seen as the quack has seen to fit to remove my licence for a short while. Twat. Seen a couple of threads about decatting the exhaust and fitting an aftermarket end can. What implications does this have for the MOT? Do I have to refit the factory cat & can before MOT day? Also how big a job is it? Is it a bastard of a job or a couple of hours to do? Also thinking of fitting some form of auxiliary lighting. Had the headlight set-up properly at the dealers but to be honest main beam is piss-poor. Has anybody fitted better lighting or upgraded the existing lights? Do the Ducati fog lights make much difference or should I be looking at something else? I've got the latest Touratech catalogue and they have xenon auxiliaries. Anybody tried them? Cheers, Chris.
I have a LeoVince decat and end can. Bike sailed through its first MOT a couple of weeks ago no problem. Just a general station I use locally, not bike specific.
There isn't an emissions test for bikes. Only noise and that's sort of subjective more than anything.
