I have a 2015 DVT with a termi end can and am looking for a decat pipe that will suit/fit this can. Any suggestions please?
Not for the pipe - but buy ear plugs - as without Cat - standard silencer is loud. There should be a few posts on here with different options on pipes.
That's why I haven't done the conversion, I dont want a ridiculously loud exhaust anymore Can't someone make a quieter de-cat?
We (collectively) are digging ourselves a very deep hole to fall into. Austria, Germany already banning or planning to ban bikes over a certain dB level from some road systems. Other countries waking up and making plans to enforce laws that have been in place for many years. In BC, Canada, it is illegal to mod an exhaust system on any vehicle that alters its environmental or noise emission ratings but the first thing the HD or sport bike folks do is add illegal exhaust systems to their bikes. If it's a new bike, the warranty will also be impacted. It would not surprise me if insurance comes next; it would not take much for an insurance company to state that to be insured, the vehicle must meet all legal requirements of the state/province in which it is registered. A big hole.
Get the Termi decat and make your bike sound like it should. Free the sound of the V Twin in all its glory.
