Is there anywhere I can access a definitive list of recalls for the single spark and twin spark ? I'm doing my homework before I make a purchase and I want to check everything is up to date. I've tried ringing my dealer with a reg number but they wouldn't tell me if the bike in question had any recalls done. Not very helpful Ducati Newcastle.
There's nothing that can be checked off the reg number. The ducati system runs off the vin number. Get the last 6 numbers and year of bike. If your dealer can't help then, PM me and I'll try and help.
Hi I've just taken the plunge after a lot deliberation to purchase 2010 1200. I fully understand your concern and that's why I've plumped for a low mileage one owner bike with a full service history from one dealer. The dealer in question is Moto Rapido and they were extremely helpful when I contacted them regarding this bike,(even though I was buying it privately). They confirmed the servicing history and what/when recalls had been completed. They included the coolant change, and recently the r/h fork. It is in the dealers best interests to be as helpful as possible regarding these matters. Not only from a safety point of view but also from a potential business one! Find yourself a friendly dealer and ride the bike of your dreams! Best wishes Lumpy

Nelly thats very helpful I'll PM you the details if you don't mind. The bike was sold and serviced by Ducati Newcastle so I would have thought they should have all the details on file. They didn't bother to reply to a second email I sent them or a phone message I left. I won't be in a hurry to put my business their way. Poor service to be fair.
