Hi Guys, Have you heard this? I've used this company for a number of years and it's a great shame that they went to the wall last Friday. Shame they didn't tell me this last Wednesday when I posted a tail light back to them that was faulty! "Announcement Dear All; We are very sorry to announce that Design Corse will cease trading as of 10/01/2020. We are extremely grateful for your continuous support over the 10 years of Design Corse' journey of supplying premium aftermarket parts for your motorbike. Their advice to me was to make a claim with PayPal or Credit Card Company. Not of much use if you paid by debit card! :-(
Unfortunately we received a note last Thursday 9th January saying to close their account on here and to delete any posts but they didn’t/wouldn’t say why. I then read they’d gone into administration on Facebook.
Ah, I also spoke to Jack at Design Corse on Tuesday of last week. He didn't mention anything (then again he wouldn't would he)!
That’s a shame. Always found them helpful and a decent bunch. Especially the blonde babe who worked there.
I’m not surprised though. I was always put off by the poor website. Would put things into the cart only to find vat added at the end, Other sites don’t do that so never followed through on purchasing. Better to advertise with vat included and then give a breakdown upon checkout.
I was about to buy some new handlebars from them, just hadn’t quite got round to it. How closely were they linked to CNC Racing as they seemed to be the middle man for them?
Seems the company which went by the name of Design Course selling Ducati bits and pieces have ceased trading as of the 10th Jan. Never used them myself so if anybody has an outstanding order they might want to check up.
Hi ! Only got the news about Design Corse today. They sent me a tail light last year and unfortunately it could not be delivered to me and was sent back from South Africa to Design Corse towards the end of January 2020. How would I be able to retrieve the part ? Is there somebody I can make contact with ?
Hi Constant, Below is a post I put on another forum way back in January. I also bought a tail light from them which turned faulty(these things happen). I was advised by them to return it and they would replace it. Unfortunately in between me sending it and them receiving they went into administration. I made inquiries about retrieving the item but was unsuccessful. I paid using a debit card so wasn’t hopeful about getting a refund but in the UK there is a scheme the banks use called “Charge Back”. I used this this with my bank, provided all of the evidence and about three weeks ago all of the monies I had paid out was refunded back into my bank account. I don’t think you have much chance of retrieving your item but you could try contacting the insolvency agency or go the route I went if you can. Good luck Colin Design Corse Hi Guys, Have you heard this? I've used this company for a number of years and it's a great shame that they went to the wall last Friday.
