Desmo on Ebay almost unused

  3. +£7.5k VAT if I'm reading it right. Although it's already registered, so probably not. They are in the EU, so if the VAT's been paid it's a good price.

    It's less than 10 numbers from mine :upyeah:

  5. I could commit a serious crime in exchange for some decent cheese right now. A nice little selection board and a glass of wine, some olives and sundried tomatoes and I'd do anything.

  7. Yeah, but you pay the VAT on importing into the UK. However if the VAT has been paid in another EU country, there is no VAT to pay on a 2nd hand vehicloe.

    Unless this seller wants VAT on top of that price. Hard to make out in that advert.

  8. There was (is?) a completely unregistered Desmo at JHP Coventry. One of a pair owned by someone. The other being ridden. If it came up for sale, I could be tempted, although not sure what limb to sell.

  15. If the bike has less than 4000 miles on it, regardless of age, you have to pay the VAT again in the importing country.

    The law in Europe is min 6 months old and min 4000 miles or 6000 klms.

    I imported my Desmo to France from UK and bought it 'hors' VAT.

  20. Though unregistered, the 3yr warranty and free servicing will have expired by now since they started when the bike was sold by the Ducati dealer which was probably in 2008 or 2009.
