Out for a good run this morning. Only unusual event temp over 100 stuck at some temporary traffic lights. Cooled down as soon as moving again. Stopped to buy some chain lube and on restart the tacho needle went round to 13k and then just stayed there as all the other lights went out and stayed out. Bike starts stops and runs but tacho fixed on 13 and no display lights or screen showing. Parking light is on haven’t checked rears or indicators. Any chance it’s just a fuse? If so where? Many thanks for any ideas.

Thanks Chris. When it says pull the gauge cluster, is it a simple push fit and pull remove? Can the fuses below the headlight be reached with just the side panels off or does the main fairing have to come off too? Thanks again.
Dash is push fit into rubber bungs. You will need an Allen key to remove the connector as there is a security fixing. Fuses next to headlight can be reached without panels off.
Ok all done. Yep panel pulled straight off. Allen key to undo the metal bolt which releases the bracket which acts as the connector retainer. Pull the connector, replace a bit later. Job done. All works. Absolutely astonished. No need to check or replace any fuses. Mille Gracie to Chris and the previous contributors. Thanks again.
