Just to say that I really "get" the Scrambler and it will be on my purchase list soon. However with the Sport Classic going "silly money" over the last 2 years or so do you think the arrival of a brand new "retro" Ducati, fresh and clean on a showroom floor near you, will see buyers preferring that instead? Cue Sport Classic prices coming back down to their previous levels of about £4.5k to £5k? The reason is I used to own a SC mono - and I really miss it but don't want to pay @ £10k to buy one back. Here's how silly prices got - I paid just under £5k for my old 2007 baby in 2011 - from a dealer , I sold it last year for £7,900....
:Hilarious: PMSL Yep, the value of the classics will definitely improve. The scrambler brand is so Marmite. In the words of top gear...I think Ducati is following in Peugeot footsteps*. * After making a few great cars for years, for the last ten years they've made a huge number of crap cars for people who don't like cars or driving.
Introduction of the Scrambler is irrelevant. Dealers are inflating SC prices, look at the Paul Smarts on EBay now, they're hanging around at £15k. All SC's are worth a lot more than they were 5 years ago that's for sure but I'm not convinced they're selling at these inflated prices.
