Bugger, would have had a ride over. We ended up in Whitby instead, and then back to Lincs via a lot of little single track moorland roads. Was ace!
Well the original post was a bit premature. @bettes couldn’t make it in the end and I rode round Rotherham for more than an hour and couldn’t find the place, so I went to Elsecar and had a hot chocolate and a warm. It’s ages since I’ve ridden around Rotherham. I’d forgotten what a shit hole it really is. Apologies if anyone is from Rotherham here, but it’s true.
