Dqs Setting

Discussion in 'Supersport (2016 onwards)' started by Ant stinson, Jul 30, 2018.

  1. Not had the bike long coming up yo 600mile and was looking to switch on the DQS system, doesn’t seem to be highlighted on the dash? Gone into settings RM but can’t see the option for the DQS? Is there another setting?

  2. Do you have the S model?

  3. Yep def

  4. Hmmm, mine was switched on from day one by default

It is switchable, and the manual implies if no DQS indication at all on the dash, even if it’s disabled, means it’s not fitted...

  5. Yep tried that - strangely not there but thinking when I bought bike new sales guy was faffing wi settings n went in to ask his colleague summat then told me not to bother wi dqs til it’s run in ... coincidence? I’ll call em this morn

  6. To the best of my knowledge it should be on by default. The obvious check to confirm DQS is on the bike is to check the gear lever, if DQS fitted it has the extra box on the linkage for the electronic gubbins. If the box is there, it’s a software/settings or fault issue I guess. If the box isn’t there...

  10. DQS should be enabled as already said by default.
You need to find out what they were messing with,

  11. "Wait until it's run in"? Mine's been on since 0 miles! I think they're fobbing (fibbing) you off.

  12. Took bike in last week for service 1 eng only in so took 4 hours due to other bikes! Apparently the other engineers not in are the ones trained on the computer so £200 lighter n still not working. Another trip to have it sorted. On the flip side I took a Duke 790 out for a few hours and it was the dogs***** so much so I bought the 390 version ‘for the missus’ off eBay this week . So all in all a £3200 service n my DQS is still inop

  13. Gosh, I wouldn't be smiling about that.
