Hi Ducati brothers! I found on YouTube a video where the russian guy is (he lives in Italy and is engaged in the repair of Ducati) improved dry clutch on his Ducati 999 with white lithium grease. What do you think about that? P.S. Video with Russian language,but u can use English subtitles.
Yes, I did this and it does work. It makes the clutch smoother and less grabby. The only problem with it is that the recommended method is to smear the grease on all the friction surfaces, wipe off the excess and then place in an oven at 200c until the smoke stops. That smoke stinks and your other half will notice it even if she was out when you did it. It’s worth a bit of grief though, as the clutch take-up is much improved.
Good idea but the temperature won’t be controlled as well. Not everyone bothers with the heating part but allegedly it makes the effect longer lasting
