If it wasn't for all the type approval red tape we might have seen an aftermarket version appear in plastic by now.

 

Wash your mouth out immediately as i prefer glass, but fully understand the red tape bollocks.

 

me too, but small fortune to be made here, i'm sure many Chinese manufacturers have considered it.
I did have a scour thru the ads for O.P. but no luck, not even a sniff.
Strongly urge everyone to buy a spare if you see one.

 

I had a quick look on Aliexpress and it looks like the Chinese haven’t made a replica headlight for the 916 etc but they do make replica headlights for quite a few different Ducatis

 

I think the way forward on the public roads with all that traffic film sitting around, maybe fitting clear plastic protected clip on lenses at what £20 a throw.
